Our Team

Frederick Richardson performs financial, market, and credit analysis of project finance transactions in the renewable and conventional energy sectors. Prior to joining Greengate, he worked for a consulting firm focused on energy infrastructure. Mr. Richardson earned his M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in energy and finance. He also holds a B.A. (cum laude) in History from Bowdoin College.

Paul G. Ameer, Managing Director, has over 20 years of experience in international project and structured finance and business consulting, and has closed transactions with an aggregate value of many billions of dollars, including some of the largest recent project financings in the industry. He has served as team leader on multiple financings in the LNG, oil and gas, pipeline, renewable energy, power, petrochemicals, and infrastructure sectors across the globe. Mr. Ameer has a Masters of Public Policy from Harvard University and a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Chris Dymond, Managing Director, has 25 years of transactional experience in the power, renewable energy, petrochemical, satellite, and oil and gas industries globally. He has transactional experience in excess of $100 billion as a sponsor, private equity investor, and financial advisor, with a successful track record in project financings, restructurings, asset acquisitions and private equity transactions. He is a former editor of Journal of Project Finance and adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he taught a graduate level course in Project Finance. Mr. Dymond has a Master's degree in international economics and energy policy from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, where he graduated first in his class, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.

Radoslav Shipkoff, Director, has more than 20 years of transactional experience in international project and structured finance. He has worked extensively in the oil and gas, LNG, petrochemicals, power, renewables, industrial and infrastructure sectors, with closed transactions valued at tens of billions of dollars worldwide, including some of the largest recent project financings. Mr. Shipkoff has an M.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and a B.A. in History and Economics from Connecticut College graduating summa cum laude.

Jeremy Levine has more than fifteen years of experience in project and infrastructure finance and structured capital markets. Mr. Levine has focused on the infrastructure and energy sectors, with a broad range of executed transactions, including senior and mezzanine debt, equity-linked structures, equity raisings and restructurings. Mr. Levine worked at Goldman Sachs before joining Greengate.  Mr. Levine received an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in finance, energy and emerging markets, and a B.A. / M.A. in History from Cambridge University.

Mr. Levine is President of the Board of Trustees of the Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School in Washington, D.C.

Travis Dunbar advises developers and financing institutions on project finance transactions across multiple sectors, including oil & gas, power, petrochemicals, renewable energy and real estate. Mr. Dunbar has worked at the World Bank and International Finance Corporation. Previously, he worked in the US Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, managing design, testing and manufacturing of reactor components for submarines and aircraft carriers. Mr. Dunbar received an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in energy and environmental issues, an M.S. (with distinction) in Engineering Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a B.S. (summa cum laude) in Materials Science and Engineering from Rice University.

Michael Azar performs financial, market and credit analysis of project financing transactions in the oil and gas, renewable and fossil energy, and infrastructure sectors. Previously, he worked at Lehman Brothers, where he advised internal clients on business, political and economic risks and opportunities in the emerging markets. Mr. Azar received an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in energy and finance, and a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Sarah Ralston performs financial, market and credit analysis of project finance transactions in the oil and gas and petrochemicals sectors. Prior to joining Greengate, she worked for the Inter-American Development Bank where she evaluated and structured natural gas and pulp and paper transactions. Ms. Ralston received an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in finance and Latin America. She also holds a B.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.

John Beasley performs financial, market, and credit analysis of project finance transactions in the renewable and conventional energy sectors, among other sectors. Prior to joining Greengate, he worked for a project development firm in Central America in energy and infrastructure and has consulted for a major international oil company on emerging chemical regulations. Mr. Beasley earned his Masters from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, with a focus on political economics and finance. He also holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Brandon Reilly has 12 years of transactional and strategic experience in the fields of financial advisory services and lending. This includes four years of transactional experience in international project and structured finance and eight years of experience working for a US Community Development Financial Institution. Through this, Mr. Reilly has developed a wide-ranging skillset in financial innovation and problem-solving. Mr. Reilly has an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), international development and international economics, and a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado.

Adam Brown performs financial, market, and credit analysis of project finance transactions in the renewable energy, conventional power, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Greengate, he worked for a bilateral development finance institution focusing on energy and infrastructure transactions, as well as a prominent executive advisory firm. Mr. Brown earned his M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with focuses on finance, energy, and Africa. He also holds a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Economics and International Affairs from Lafayette College.

Brandon Bowen has 10 years of transactional experience in international project and structured finance, with particular expertise developed in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mr. Bowen has a demonstrated track record in successfully closing project finance, refinancing, and M&A transactions in the power, renewable energy, oil and gas, and petrochemical sectors across the globe. Mr. Bowen has an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in energy and finance, and a B.A. in International Economics from the University of Kentucky.
